Following your accident there are a number of reasons you may need the report from your Kansas City car accident. Those reasons range from needing the report to file a claim for compensation with your insurance agency to needing it for filing a personal injury complaint. If the accident occurred after May 2013 you can request the report HERE. For reports before May 2013 you will request the report in writing from the Kansas Highway Patrol General Headquarters Records office (708 SW Jackson, Topeka, KS 66603). If you prefer to make a request in person, you may make the request at the headquarters address noted above. For the most part, requesting your report through other law enforcement offices is the same as those mentioned above.
