Hoverboards were, and still are, the "must have" item for some. Would you think to protect yourself from fire or explosions when riding one these? Doubtful, but apparently necessary. The above news footage shows the board catching fire. The New York Times reports that the Hoverboard also has been know to explode. This is particularly concerning given that kids, teens and adults alike enjoy riding these boards.
